About Me

I was brought up in Liverpool and studied law in Cardiff. I worked as a solicitor for over 15 years in the City of London and in Local Government so I really do mean it when I say I understand first hand the pressures of a busy working and family life.

I was introduced to homeopathy when a friend recommended it as it had really helped with her asthma management. I had a long standing PMS problem and was highly sceptical about the whole idea. Within three months I was free of the symptoms that had plagued every month of my life since puberty. What’s more the symptoms never came back and many other areas of my life continued to be resolved or improved by homeopathy.

Two children later and wanting a better work life balance I decided to change my life and embarked upon my training at the College of Practical Homeopathy in London. I qualified in 1998 and since then have continued to update my knowledge – attending many interesting and diverse courses, and continuing professional development. I am registered with a professional body – the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (MARH) which means I am insured and work to a Code of Ethics. I am not medically qualified.

With my background it is no surprise that many of my patients are highly driven and stressed working people (many patients recommend me to their colleagues) but I also have a real interest in working with families and children of all ages, particularly teenagers. If we remember how hard it was to be fifteen just imagine how much more pressured it is in this century!

I also have experience of special needs and endeavour to support people and their carers with their multi dimensional issues. Nothing is more important than recognising the individuality of everyone. This is a central tenet of homeopathy. Far too often the labels that surround special needs and difference mask  the uniqueness of that person.

I really appreciate working with other professionals in many aspects of lifestyle including exercise and nutrition and liaising with the appropriate people who might already be helping you or involved in your health/life programme.
